2. Data that we process from you and the purpose of the processing

In principle, we only process your data for the purposes for which we received or collected it. We process your data to carry out the employment relationship within the meaning of Article 88 of the GDPR.

We usually process the following personal data from you:

3. Legal bases on which we process your data

In the following we will inform you about the legal basis on which we process your data. Data processing to carry out the employment relationship (Article 88 GDPR)

We process personal data for the implementation of employment relationships. The legal basis is Art. 88 GDPR.
Data processing for the fulfillment of contracts (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR) We process personal data for the fulfillment of contracts. The fulfillment of contracts includes, for example, the conclusion, processing and reversal of a contract. In addition, we process personal data that is required to carry out pre-contractual measures, such as initiating a contract, and that takes place at your request.

On the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR)
We process personal data for one or more specific purposes if you have given us your consent to do so. If personal data is processed on the basis of your consent, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Data processing based on a balance of interests (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR) If we process data on the basis of a balance of interests, you as the data subject have the right, taking into account the requirements of Article 21 GDPR, the processing of personal data to disagree. As far as the specific purpose allows, we process your data pseudonymously or anonymously.

4. Other recipients of your data

As a rule, your data will not be passed on, unless this is permitted by a legal basis.

Passing on to processors within the framework of Art. 28 GDPR
If we commission service providers to fulfill our tasks, we always observe the data protection regulations, in particular, data is only passed on after contracts for order processing have been concluded.

To carry out a contractual relationship
If it is necessary for the execution of the contract with you, we will pass on your data to banks or shipping service providers, for example.

Disclosure due to a legal obligation
If there is a legal or official obligation, we will pass on your data to public bodies or institutions (authorities, for example in the context of criminal prosecution).

Other bodies, insofar as you have given us your consent
If you have given your explicit consent, we will also pass on your data to other bodies. However, this is done within the limits of demonstrable consent from you.

5. Duration of data storage – how long is your data stored?

Dedicated storage period
We process the data as long as this is necessary for the respective purpose. If necessary, we process your personal data for up to six months after completing the application process.

Storage until you revoke your consent
If the data processing is based on consent until revocation, we process your data until you revoke your consent.

In principle, towards the end of a calendar year, we carry out an examination of data with regard to the need for further processing. Due to the amount of data, this check is carried out with regard to specific types of data or purposes of processing.

Of course, you can request information about the data we have stored about you at any time and, if this is not necessary, request that the data be deleted or that processing be restricted.

6. Transfer of your data to a third country

We generally process your personal data in data centers in the Federal Republic of Germany or the European Union.

A transfer to a third country is only possible if you have given us your consent or we have concluded a contract for order processing in accordance with Article 28 GDPR, taking into account the EU standard contractual clauses or other suitable guarantees.

7. Your Rights

Below you will find an overview of the rights to which you are entitled under the General Data Protection Regulation.

Right to information (cf. Art. 15 GDPR)
You have the right to information about the processing of your personal data. Article 15 GDPR.

Right to rectification (cf. Art. 16 GDPR)
You have the right to have incorrect personal data corrected. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you have the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data – also by means of a supplementary declaration.

Right to erasure / right to be “forgotten” (cf. Art. 17 GDPR)
You have the right to have personal data deleted, in particular if the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was processed or if you have revoked your consent.

Right to restriction of processing / blocking (see Art. 18 GDPR)
You have the right to restriction, in particular if the accuracy of the personal data is disputed by you, for a period of time that enables us to verify the accuracy of the personal data.

Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit this data to another person responsible without hindrance from us, provided that the processing is based on consent or is based on a contract and the processing is carried out using automated procedures.

Right to object (cf. Art. 21 GDPR)
You have the right to object to the processing of personal data

Automated decisions in individual cases including profiling (cf. Art. 22 GDPR)
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing – including profiling – which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. This does not apply if the decision is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract between you and us, is permissible on the basis of legal regulations and these regulations contain appropriate measures to protect your rights and freedoms and your legitimate interests or are made with your express consent .

Right of appeal (cf. Art. 77 GDPR)

8. Specification of your rights of objection (cf. Art. 21 GDPR)

Individual right of objection
You have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data relating to you, which is based on Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR (data processing on the basis of a balance of interests).
